Bike Films Make Way to San Diego
For the younger set, BFF means “Best Friends Forever,” but for the bicycling set BFF stands for the Bicycle Film Festival.
The Bicycle Film Festival was founded in 2001 by Brendt Barbur, a bicyclist made famous by an infamous collision with a bus. For the first time, the BFF is bringing the party to San Diego on September 4th and 5th.
Why? Apparently the San Diego bike culture is getting national attention, not to mention California has been long-known for its bicycle-friendly ways.
The festival kicks off with a short program, and a kickin’ after party, and includes not only bicycle-related films, but free BBQ (vegetarian-friendly), and plenty of fellow bicyclists.
