Richard Duquette and John Howard Race in the Quick 'n' Dirty MTB Series

This is me and bicycle legend John Howard at the Quick ‘n’ Dirty mountain bike race last night at Lake Hodges Escondido, Ca. John is a Pan American Games gold medalist, Ironman world champion,and fastest on a bike at the Bonnieville Salt Flats at 100 mph,and more.

We both raced the course, and John took 2nd in the Sport Class 46 and up. Whereas, I finished the two lap course in one piece.

I’m looking forward to the Tour of California pro bicycle race this Sunday in Escondido, our own back yard.
