2009 Amgen Tour of California Route Details Announced

The 2009 Amgen Tour of California professional cycling race route details have been announced. This race, the largest cycling event in America, and one of the most anticipated professional cycling races in the world, has some challenging new course additions, and exciting new cities for this year’s race.

The tour, scheduled to take place from February 14-22, will span 16 cities, including first-time Tour cities Davis, Santa Cruz, Merced, Clovis, Paso Robles, and Rancho Bernardo. As with prior Amgen Tour’s of California, a women’s criterium will be included, taking place in Santa Rosa.
